The death has occurred of an unnamed construction worker who tragically lost his life while working on stage assembly for an upcoming Shakira concert in Brazil.
The incident happened on April 26, 2026, during setup operations for the “Todo Mundo no Rio” event. According to reports, the worker suffered severe crushing injuries while working with a lifting system as stage structures were being assembled.
Emergency responders were called to the scene and provided initial treatment before transporting the injured worker to the hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he was later pronounced dead.
